The Oak Lawn Park District Preschool Program is designed to prepare your child for kindergarten by teaching them the skills they will use. Our programs are designed to introduce your 3 and 4-year-old to math, science, language arts, music, and art in a multi-sensory and developmentally appropriate program, while incorporating social skills and creative development. Our Junior Program will teach kids name recognition, pencil/scissor grip, letter (A-Z) and number (1-10) recognition, along with basic colors and shapes with a strong emphasis on social skills. Our Senior Program will continue those goals and adding in rhyming, opposites, and word family recognition. Both Junior and Senior Programs will be offered at the Oak View Center (4625 W. 110th Street)
