Public Meeting Notice
The Oak Lawn Park District in conjunction with Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. (ERA) will hold a Public Information Meeting to solicit input concerning the proposed improvement of Wolfe Wildlife Trail. The public information meeting will be held at Oak View Community Center (4625 W 110th Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453) on May 28, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. All persons interested in this project are invited to attend this meeting. Persons with disabilities planning to attend this meeting should contact the individual listed below by May 23, 2024 to make arrangements for participating. The contact may be made by telephone, in writing, by fax, by email or by telecommunications device for the deaf (TTY).
This is a state-funded project, and the Public Information Meeting is being held in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements and the Illinois Department of Transportation’s public involvement policy.
The proposed project will require construction in a floodplain. Pursuant to Executive Order 11988, as amended by Executive Order 13690, public review and comment on this project is hereby requested.
The meeting will be conducted on an informal basis. Representatives of Oak Lawn Park District and ERA will be available to answer individual questions and record comments offered by those in attendance. Verbatim comments will not be recorded. Representatives will address topics such as the need for the project, the preliminary design, right-of-way acquisition, and the tentative project timeline and construction schedule. Project related documents, including preliminary engineering exhibits, maps, and aerial photography will be available for inspection and viewing for the duration of the meeting.
